This is a little place around the corner of a road, but the food is very tasty. It's really take out the authentic indian taste that we all love are crave. Price is reasonable, but seat capacity is very few. Sometimes you have to wait in lines for the seat. Great ambiance. Only drop back I face is that the service was poor. Otherwise enjoy the food.

The food and staff are great. The owner makes an effort to make sure the customers are 100% happy with the food. The food is truly authentic and it's evident there is a strong customer base. Many customers are regulars and you don't need to wait too long for the food. Overall, it's a very warm place, great ownership, great quality, and generous portions at a fair price. I came here twice in one week and will definitely return. Thank you for attention to detail. Though there is not much seating, you can easily order take out. They're also open much later than other restaurants.

Very nice, well decorated place. Good ambience, friendly owner. The food tastes delicious, with variety of food. They also customize the food as per your taste - Japanese, Indian, European etc. Also for vegetarian and even vegan food. I got veg biryani even if it was not in the menu. They also prepared chapati that was like home made, which was great! The location is easy to find - near Roppongi Grand Tower and near Embassy of US.

Located very close to the Tokyo Midtown tower and numerous other work location. Quite busy a place but the food is amazing. They provide excellent Indian food and its a great place for some fresh lunch and dinner. Try the chapati option with other curries available. Quite filling and the staff and owner are amazing.

My husband immediately felt into a passionate talk about European football with the owner of this small and unique place, that besides from creating a joyful atmosphere also cooks 5 star Indian food. Biggest recommendations from us!!

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. I was really missing home food and then I found Downtown B's. Simply the best Indian restaurant in Tokyo. The staff and the owner were extremely sweet and very accommodating. Naans/chapatis here taste way better than what I had in India, truly. I highly recommend this place to everybody and especially to vegans. You guys are doing great and I wish you all the very best!

I actually choked on my food because I was trying to eat it as quickly as I could before by boyfriend could try to take some from me! (Haha) I rarely finish my food as I have a small appetite but I finished every last bit here because it was so delicious. The food was incredibly well seasoned. We’ve paid 5X the cost at other Indian restaurants are they are not even half as good as Downtown B’s. The owner’s special ingredient is love and you can certainly taste it. Since moving to Tokyo, this is one of the best meals I’ve had. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Cozy Indian restaurant in Roppongi itchome , food is simply delicious . Samosas , chicken Tikka Masala and the tandoori chicken were delicious. Highly recommended . simple decor and attentive staff. English menu available.

This was my last dinner in Japan after several weeks and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very cozy. We enjoyed the owner’s approach to offer a healthier version of Indian - every dish is freshly prepared. Above all, was the owner’s beautiful attitude towards his restaurant and life. After a lengthy conversation with the owner, we left smiling - what a fantastic way to conclude our trip. If you’re looking for a delicious Indian option, or even if you are new to Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must try. Your meal will be catered to your exact liking - just let the owner know.

Treated like regular customer in the first visit itself. Hospitality is the main thing. Food served was very good. Had fresh, tasty and hot veg biriyani. Apart from this we can ask any information we want, he provides detailed and useful information. Overall experience there was good. So visited once again.

I've been eating at Downtown B's for over two years now and they are my "go-to" Indian restaurant. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is welcoming. And it's always pleasant to visit with Bonnie.

Great little place to visit. Lots of options for vegetarians and the food taste very natural and fresh. You will feel very much at home if you can connect and the owner is fantastic person. He will do his best for you.

Most regular place for my home food. I eat here almost 5-6 times a week and I get what I eat back home. Food is always cooked fresh, lots of choices for vegetarians, staffs are very kind and friendly and very good value for money.The place is small but is loved by many.

1. Location was accessible.2. The staff and owner were really attentive and friendly.3. The food was awesome. So far, the best butter chicken curry I tasted. You can really tell the difference of their curry from other Indian restaurants.4. We had the dinner menu. My partner ordered a drink but I didn’t. I just had water. When my partner’s drink came, they gave me “on the house” drink! ☺️ 5. The owner was really friendly. He always talks to customers and asks about the food. 6. The food and service was good HOWEVER when we asked for the bill, we only got to see the total bill on their calculator. We didn’t see the breakdown of our bill.

Cozy little shop in a perfect location. Good price, owner is very friendly and the food is good. If you don’t see an option on the menu you can always ask to see if the owner can whip up a specialty dish, (vegan, protein based, Indian authentic etc.) definitely recommend stopping by here to hear a few good stories and enjoy good food with good people.

We had a really delightful lunch meal. The lunch sets are delicious and a great value. The service was quick and friendly. My favourite curry was the butter chicken with the naan to dip. Finished every food on each plate.

B’s place is one of a kind. Very quickly I became regular. He always makes custom vegetarian/vegan options. Great alternative if you are not a big fan of japanese cuisine. Last but not least, very affordable and the quality you get for the price is amazing. And you can always have a nice chat bout football. He has my recommendation!

A small restaurant with excellent food and very friendly owner and staff. Authentic indian food, as well as common dishes from more ”international style” Indian restaurants (things like Butter Chicken, Naan and a perfectly seasoned Tandoori chicken) are availible on the menu, at very good prices (the set menus especially). Many delicious options for vegetarians and vegans.

A big thank you to Bonnie and his team for serving me great home cooked fresh Indian food for every night of my stay in Tokyo. The vegetarian selection was great, very good staffs and very resoanably priced. This is a small kitchen with a big heart. I Highly recommend it !!

Couldn’t recommend this restaurant highly enough! Lovely cosy place, incredible food and great prices. My favourite is the prawn curry! Having spent the past six months living in Tokyo, Downtown B’s became a real staple and I’m sad to not be able to visit anymore. Fantastic food and excellent service. The owner is very friendly and will accommodate you in the best way. Food is reasonably priced and delicious. We ordered a lot of food to try many dishes. They were all fantastic. The chicken biryani was my favorite. Very good place when you get tired of the Japanese food and need a hearty meal. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options, just ask the friendly owner or staff!

After a few days on the road I was craving some Indian food and boy did this place hit the spot! The food was simply amazing and tasted like it was made at home (not rich and greasy like a lot of places are) - among the best Indian I have eaten. The owner happened to wait on me; he is super friendly and we had a great conversation. To boot it all the food was not even that expensive. I’ll be sure to visit every time I’m in Tokyo!

Just googled Indian restaurants near my office and reached here. Although there was another Indian restaurant very near to my office, I still preferred to try this one out. And I can say that I ended up being happy about ny choice. Tasty food and the best part is the way the owner Mr. Boney make u comfortable and feel at home. Will definitely visit more often - for food and for Mr. Boney.

Loved the food. The owner was really nice and had a nice conversation with him. Got the dinner lunch set with 2 curries and tandoori chicken. The butter chicken was really delicious and on the sweet flavourful side, not the typical spicy flavour that most restaurants use which masks the flavour of the curry. I loved it!

Every dish is 100% perfect without any flaws. Whatever you order, it will be tasty and awesome 😍 Especially recommended is the cheese nan and the fried potatos.

Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. Really friendly staff and a gentleman of an owner. Had a great night in here after the rugby World Cup final and returned again a couple of weeks later. Will be a regular spot for anytime I return to the area.

Delicious! Came with my family for dinner while staying at the ANA intercontinental (about a 10 minute walk). We (3 adults) ordered one set (which includes a curry, salad, tandoori chicken, and a choice of rice or naan), two additional curries and an two rice and a naan. The total came out to approx 4100 yen. We all left full and satisfied. Coming from NYC I'm used to good quality affordable Indian. We were very happy with this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality, authentic break from Japanese cuisine. If you are local the have a 500 yen lunch special.

I had prawn curry with nan. It tasted good and I appreciated they were open on Sundays.
